Kindergarten to Junior College

AnandaVidya Nikean, formerly known as ‘Vivekananda Vidya Niketan’, is the only Yoga based Educational Institution in North East India that maintains a progressive secular nature. At present Ananda Vidya Niketan is offering value based education to pupils from Kindergarten to Xth standard. These classes are divided into two sections to maintain a proper pupils-teacher ratio.

To restrain the undisciplined state of mind and normal delinquency of the youth, Ananda Vidya Niketan (AVN) has incorporated various techniques like meditation/ dhyan, periodical silence, observation, pranayama/ proper breathing etc. in its Daily School Curriculum. Besides the normal curriculum of the State of Assam (SEBA), Ananda Vidya Niketan has also incorporated Yoga, Sports, Art, Music, Dance, Spoken English and Personality Development from the very early age to provide the pupils with an all-round growth.

The AVN Junior College was established in the year 2005, to provide quality education to the pupils of H.S 1^st and 2^nd year. At present the college is offering only the Arts stream to the pupils.

Admissions:

The application form for admission to Ananda Vidya Niketan is issued to the intending candidates from 15^th November every year.
