Silver Jubilee Year 2017

“Ananda Vidya Niketan”, instituted under the aegis of “Anandapuram, Nalbari” on 6th January 1993, stepped into its 25th year of glorious journey on 6th January 2017.

On this occasion, Ananda Vidya Niketan, Nalbari celebrated its foundation day, along with the celebration of its entry into the Silver Jubilee Year.

The day began at 9:30am with a cleanliness drive in the school campus. Keeping abreast with the “Swacch Bharat Abhiyan”, one and all participated in brooming and cleaning the campus.

The second stage was the hoisting of the “Silver Jubilee Year” flag by the President of the “Silver Jubilee Celebration Committee” – Nalbari Ratna Dr. Basanta Kr. Bhattacharya. The President of the “Anandapuram Administrative Committee” Sri Kalinath Goswami also hoisted the “Foundation Day Flag” of the school.

The flag hoisting ceremony was followed by the unraveling of the “Silver Jubilee Sign Board” by the Principal of “Ananda Vidya Niketan”, Sri Achyut Kalita, in front of a huge crowd of students, guardians and well-wishers.

The final stage of the programme began at around 12 Noon. The founder of “Anandapuram” Swami Barun Ananda, Rector of AVN – Ms. Rita Baruah, Dr. Basanta Kr. Bhattacharya, Sri Kalinath Goswami, Sri Achyut Kalita and other dignitaries were felicitated by the school children. Afterwards, the dignitaries shared their invaluable speeches one by one.

On one hand “Dr. Basanta Kr. Bhattacharya” emphasised about the importance of a family, especially the mother of a child, in developing his/her physical and intellectual capabilities. On the other hand, he mentioned the contribution of “Ananda Vidya Niketan” in molding the young generation into successful person and urged the people to send their children to the school for overall development.
